One of the most interesting tours you can have.

We start in front of “SABINE TRAVEL” at 10.00 am.
1 & ½ hour later, we will be in the ancient city of Aptera.

Aptera was the most powerful city in this union of Creta, though the years of Minoan civilization and the years after that. It is built on a hill with a perfect view to the bay of Souda. You can still admire ruins of ancient houses, tubes, churches. Also, ruins of the theatre and the castle. You will have approximately, 2 hours to explore this archaeological site.

At 14.00pm, our bus starts for Chania.

14.30pm we will arrive in the city center.

The choices are many from that point.
Grab a bite in a traditional tavern (there are many around there).
Make some shopping in the modern city center or at the traditional stores around the old city (the malls are open all day).
Explore the narrow streets in the old city, which lead to the famous Old Venetian Harbor, with the magnificent lighthouse.
Do not miss the chance to walk across the harbor and see the lighthouse closely.
There are many stores around there, so can buy your Cretan souvenirs.
Also, visit the building of the local market. There, you can discover and buy many Cretan products
Mingle with the locals and explore the Greek way of life.

18.00pm we are leaving Chania and 1 & ½ hour later, we will be back to Paleochora.
